All hunters are responsible for obtaining the appropriate Texas hunting license, endorsements, and certifications before their hunt. License requirements vary depending on the species being hunted. Whitetail deer, exotics, dove, turkey, hogs, and predator hunts may have different license or endorsement requirements, so we recommend reviewing current Texas Parks & Wildlife Department requirements before your trip.
Hunters born on or after September 2, 1971, are also subject to Texas Hunter Education requirements. This applies to both Texas residents and out-of-state hunters.
